Our organisation's main contesting and performing outfit, Townsville Brass has a long history of contesting and service to the community. The majority of the players here have risen through the ranks of Brolga Brass, and find themselves in the middle of a very promising young band. Townsville Brass are in regular attendance to the Queensland State Band Championships, and when possible the Australian Nationals. The band currently resides in the 'B' Grade (2nd highest of 4 possible sections for those unfamiliar with the Australian System) section of the competition. Townsville Brass is currently under the baton of Mr Dale Hosking. |
